Orange Spice Rum

Clove, Allspice, Cinnamon

This delicious, tropical infusion brings Caribbean spices to your favorite rum. Enjoy over ice or use it in your favorite rum-based cocktail!

First, make sure you've got the right tools for the job:

Next, let's make something delicious!

Inside the Porthole:
  • 3 Oranges
  • 2 Cloves
  • 2 Allspice berries
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 vanilla bean, split
Liquid to be Added:
  • 7-10oz rum, aged or un-aged
To Assemble and Serve:

Slice oranges into 3/16” (5mm) thick slices. Remove all pith (leaving pith will impart bitterness and shorten the life of the infusion).

Arrange infusion ingredients in the Porthole.

Close the Porthole, tighten screw, and check the seal for good contact on both sides.

Pour rum into the assembled Porthole through the spout.
Allow infusion to settle for a few minutes before inserting a stopper.

Periodically toggle the Porthole to lightly agitate contents. Best after 24 hrs. Can be enjoyed for up to 7 days
