We've designed Ona in two sizes:

• the Ona Champagne fits most champagne and sparkling wine bottles we've tested it with. These bottles tend to have very low shoulders and wider bases than standard white or rosé wine bottles.
• the Ona Standard fits most white or rosé bottles we've tested (to be slightly technical: Bordeaux and Burgundy shapes).

Ona can fit most round 750ml bottles we've tested, and we have indeed made use of it with large cider and beer bottles. And we can think of several other uses - vermouth on a cocktail bar cart, juice carafes for a mimosa bar, etc.

This is a good question, and an important distinction to make - Ona is not ideal for chilling room (or cellar) temperature wines (in the same way that an igloo cooler - on its own - is not that useful for making beer cold).

Ona (like a cooler) is much better at keeping wine cold. The Lattice offers very good thermal insulation, while the Ice Pack does offer some active cooling, but not enough to dramatically chill a full bottle.

So, in short, you'd use it more to keep pre-chilled wine cold, not so much to chill a warm bottle of wine.

Ona comes in a storage case that slides easily into a drawer or cabinet. You can keep the Lattice in the fridge or freezer if you like, but it's not strictly necessary. The Ice Pack is small enough to easily be stored in the freezer (and it needs to be frozen before use, for optimum performance).
