Inside the Porthole:
- 1 apple, washed and cut into thin slices
- 1 handful fresh tarragon sprigs, washed
Liquid to be Added:
- apple cider vinegar
To Assemble and Serve:
Arrange the infusion ingredients inside the Porthole. Close the Porthole, tighten screw, and check the seal for good contact on both sides.
Next, add the cider vinegar to the assembled Porthole through the spout.
Infuse for at least an hour, up to several days.
Tips:
- Combine a few tablespoons (or more, to taste) with sparkling water and ice for a bright, refreshing soda.
- Note that the apple will discolor over time. This is ok! You can minimize this by inserting the stopper into the Porthole to slow oxidation.
